Mirada Medical announces the expansion of its executive leadership team as Dr Karen Fitchett steps into the role of Chief Executive Officer and Joe Noto joins Mirada Medical as Vice President of Revenue. Karen Fitchett Steps into CEO Role 

Building on her proven leadership as Managing Director and Chief Product Officer, Karen Fitchett now assumes the position of Chief Executive Officer at Mirada Medical.

Bringing over 20 years of experience driving product innovation for medical devices, converging science and technological advancements to make a meaningful clinical impact. Her expertise extends to artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in medical imaging, having successfully brought AI-driven diagnostic tools from research through to clinical deployment and regulatory approval. 

Dr Fitchett has executed product advancement at Perspectum, where she managed the development of LiverMultiScan products and spearheaded initiatives to make clinical reports more accessible and actionable for healthcare providers. Prior to joining Mirada, she played a pivotal role at Kheiron Medical Technologies (acquired by Deep Health), leading the development and commercialization of an AI-powered breast cancer screening solution and advancing the machine learning-based product through clinical validation and regulatory clearance. In both positions, she demonstrated a consistent focus on translating clinical advantages into market-ready solutions.

Dr Fitchett's leadership philosophy centers on team development and organizational growth. Her strategic thinking and product-focused passion connect clinical innovation with market opportunity, working collaboratively with teams to identify and meet emerging needs in healthcare technology. Her experience spans cloud-based software platforms and product development cycles from concept through commercialization.

Joe Noto Brings Strategic Expertise 

Joe Noto joins Mirada Medical's executive team as Vice President of Revenue, where he will oversee commercial strategy, sales operations, and partnership development. In his new role, Joe will focus on building scalable strategies while working closely with clinical partners to understand evolving needs in the medical imaging landscape.

Bringing over three decades of leadership experience across both high-growth startups and global healthcare technology leaders, including Philips Medical Systems and Hewlett-Packard, Noto has demonstrated exceptional versatility across entrepreneurial and enterprise environments. Noto held the position of General Manager at Xoft (iCAD subsidiary), played a pivotal role in scaling Epiphany Healthcare from startup through successful acquisition, and held VP of Marketing at iCAD. His Fortune 500 experience at Hewlett-Packard and Philips Medical Systems provided him with expertise in enterprise sales and global market expansion. His expertise encompasses sales leadership, marketing strategy, and partnership development across the healthcare technology spectrum. Throughout his career, Noto has built extensive sales channels, established key OEM relationships, and developed strategic partnerships that have driven market expansion and revenue growth.
