Mirada have been providing Registration QC since the introduction of their first clinical Deformable Image Registration (DIR) product in 2002. Registration QC is essential for checking the aligned image and ensuring that a biologically plausible registration is achieved.
Mirada Registration QC provides a complete suite of tools for checking both the quality of the fused image and the deformation map, as well as quantifying the registration. Ensuring that the image fusion is accurate and that the deformation map is biologically plausible are both essential for clinical confidence in any subsequent imaged-guided targeting or dose deformation applications.
In addition to Registration QC, Mirada's RTx software provides a range of tools for performing, modifying, assisting and fine-tuning registration to ensure that the final fused result is of the highest quality. Mirada’s accurate deformable fusion algorithms allow you to fuse any combination of CT, PET, PET/CT, MRI and CBCT, including 4D data sets, using an automated or manual method. All Mirada’s registration algorithms are based on published algorithms but have been developed and optimized for particular radiation oncology use-cases and modality combinations.
Mirada’s smoothing and local registration tools can assist in fine-tuning those more difficult areas by allowing the user to focus the registration on particular areas of the image. Any region of interest or planning structures can be used to focus the registration and the process repeated as many times as necessary.
