Mirada introduced the industry’s first clinical Deformable Image Registration (DIR) product in 2002 and since then its algorithms have been deployed in thousands of systems worldwide either integrated within its own or within OEM products. Such extensive clinical deployment, rigorous testing and 10 years of continuous development have resulted in industry leading technology.
Mirada RTx brings this DIR engine to the Radiation Oncology clinic and provides a set of powerful yet intuitive workflows for multi-modal fusion, atlas-based contouring, dose deformation and summation, and adaptive therapy.
Mirada’s accurate deformable fusion algorithms allow you to incorporate any combination of CT, PET, PET/CT, MRI and CBCT, including 4D data sets, into the planning process. The RTx user has a choice to utilize the deformable fusion in an automated or manual method.
All Mirada’s registration algorithms are based on published algorithms but have been developed and optimized for particular radiation oncology use-cases and modality combinations. For example, RTx selects the CT-CT Optic Flow algorithm for PET/CT fusion with the planning CT but selects the CT-MR multi-modal algorithm for MRI fusion workflows.
Mirada’s local registration tool can assist in fine-tuning those more difficult areas of fusion by allowing the user to focus the registration on particular areas of the image. Any region of interest or planning structures can be used to focus the registration and the process repeated as many times as necessary.
Unique Dynamic Contour Transformation technology allows you to define and edit contours in any modality, any view, or by using all sequences from an MRI acquisition. Fused image sets or warped contours may be exported directly to your treatment planning system.
