Oncology Imaging Software

Mirada's XD3 is designed to support the clinician using images in the diagnosis and management of cancer. XD3 cuts across sub-specialties and can be used by radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, radiation oncologists, clinical oncologists, at tumor board meetings and in communications with the referring physician.

Multi-modality support is crucial in oncology. Mirada are experts not only in CT and CT/PET, but also in SPECT and MRI

Comparative PET/CT review is increasingly considered to be the one of the most powerful modalities for the assessment of treatment response in many cancers. XD3 supports both the initial and any subsequent reads. For example, any regions of interest created in the baseline read are available in follow-up sessions and can be easily propagated for automated tracking of quantification, thereby assisting the clinician in quickly and effectively assessing change in, for example, lesion size or tumor tracer uptake. This application feature is powered by Mirada's deformable registration algorithm

Quantified reporting of disease characteristics is today as important as the qualitative reading of medical images. Mirada XD3 provides comprehensive quantification: SUV min, max, mean and peak by body weight, lean body mass or body surface area, Total Lesion Glycolysis, metabolic and anatomic volume and supports standard response assessment protocols such as RECIST, WHO and PERCIST. Through the use of powerful software assisted tools for 3D region delineation or 2D linear measurements, we are able to provide the richest set of statistics. These support the clinician in understanding and reporting, in a measurable, comparable and reproducible fashion, the current condition of the patient, and how this has changed over time, for example in response to radiation or chemo- therapy

MRI fusion to PET is one of today's hot topics as the scanner manufacturers race to build a hybrid camera capable of combining these two cancer imaging modalities. At Mirada, we already do fusion of MRI to both PET and SPECT, delivering new analytical possibilities ahead of time

Powerful registration allows the radiation oncologist to fuse the any PET, SPECT, MRI and diagnostic CT scans in the space of the planning CT, thereby facilitating multi-modal contouring

Dedicated workflows support protocol and disease specific workflows, such as head and neck or melanoma

Reports may be automatically configured to include the set of quantifications that you need. These may be output in several convenient formats to PACS, disc or elsewhere
